Time for Fall

Last month in my stamp class, one of the cards we made used the lovely fall leaf set and the popular triple time stampin' technique.  This card went over quite well.  It looks hard to do, but is really very easy.

We used Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and More Mustard inks. The leaf set is French Foliage, and is so pretty.  They look like real leaves!  Lookie:

We added the sentiment on top with a label from the  Apothecary Accents framelits collection.  A little piece of ribbon (this one is retired from last season's Holiday mini--quilted chocolate satin) and a couple of gold brads finish it off nicely.  The edges were sponged on the sentiment, too, to give it a little dimension.
Here's a close up of those details, and you can also see the mustard color; I stamped the words stamp with it.

Here are the measurements of the card stock pieces so you can make one, too:
Vanilla:
2 x 3 1/4
3 x 4 1/4
4 x 5 1/4

Soft Suede:
2 1/4 x 3 1/2
3 1/4 x 4 1/2
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (card base)

Our group of ladies swaps each month and one of my gals, Linda,  decided she was going to bogart my idea of the triple time stampin' technique a month before. So she already knew what to do when we made the card above.  But I wanted to show her card, too, because hers is stunning.

He details are just as stunning

and sparkly
